What Do Women Really Need?

“I raise up my voice — not so I can shout but so that those without a voice can be heard. We cannot succeed when half of us are held back.” — Malala Yousafzai
Women need to be taken more seriously.
We need to be believed not belittled.
We need to be protected not accosted.
We need to be appreciated not stereotyped.
We need compassion not bashing.
We need love not hate.
We need trust not suspicion.
We need kind men not mere kicks.
We need male allies not cruel enemies.
We need to be respected not laughed at.
We’ve earned it.
Do you ever wonder what you have to contribute to society? What is your purpose? What do you have to offer?
I don’t know what I have to offer yet, but I’m thinking about it, women’s issues for one.
