“Try Harder!” is a new film that gives an inside look at the students at San Francisco’s Lowell High School before the changes from its merit-based admissions. Released last December, the timing of this film couldn’t be better. The school issue is a hot topic right now. This film is a great way to open discussions on the role of public schools and college admissions, and Lowell High School specifically.
