God Can Keep a Secret

It’s good to listen to people. Everyone needs to be heard. We should never be so closed minded that we don’t listen to each other. It might be necessary before we can heal. But there can be consequences for sharing too much with people.

Over the years, I have often felt the need to vent about things that bothered me. Or I just freely yet naively shared my life experiences. In the past, I probably overly vented to family and friends. Eventually, I sought out therapy so I could speak about my complaints in private.

Now I try to take my worries to God. He’s always willing to listen. He’s always there. And if God feels the need to vent about my venting He will only be doing so with the angels and saints in Heaven. So my secrets are safe with Him. God is the best confidant to have. I highly recommend taking your concerns to Him.

Do you have a worry? Take it to God. The best part is that He comes up with solutions and answers prayer.

Philippians 4:6
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

Psalm 120:1
“I cried to the Lord in my trouble, and He answered me.”

And I thank God for that.

Psalm 30:12
“That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”
